The Splitzville farm

In 1989 I bought a 5 acre plot of land of a harness racer that would later become famous, for $8500.00. I then put up a shack and put in a garden, tomatoes and pot I think it was way back then, but I soon moved on to more traditional crops and today the place host an amazing variety of crops: Apples, pears , cherries, corn, beans, tomatoes, potatoes, carrots, mints, herbs, flowers, swiss chard, squash, gourds, onions, garlic, beets, …the list goes on and on.

We canned over eighty jars of tomatoes this year! and another twenty chutney’s and more mint and spice jelly’s Yum The bounty as we call it was amazing this year!
